POLICE VISIT JUSTIN BIEBER

Chris Brown isn’t the only one with car troubles, Justin Bieber, is also under investigation following two phone calls to authorities regarding reckless driving in his Calabasas community last night.

On Monday evening, sources tell both TMZ and E! News, cops received multiple calls complaining about Justin’s flagrant disregard for the speed limit. In this case, driving way too fast around the neighborhood in his Ferrari, even while children were present.

Police have confirmed they visited Justin to question the pop singer, but wouldn’t disclose any information about the discussion. Apparently Justin refused to speak with them. (So far there’s been no comment from Justin’s rep on this latest of 400 speed bumps this year alone.)

If you’re having a case of deja vu that’s because in March, Justin’s neighbor called the police to report the singer’s reckless driving, eventually confronting him about it. Justin then allegedly spit on his neighbor and threatened to kill him...

Protest by the Students of Kwara state Polytechnic in Ilorin took another dimension on Tuesday with cars vandalized as protesters and anti-riot Policemen exchanged stones and bottles with tear-gas.

All business activities along Muritala Muhammed way, Taiwo, General Post Office, Sango Area, including Commercial Banks were closed down as at the time of filling this story.

There was also information in some quarters that the victim has given up the ghost at the hospital which escalated the crisis. But in swift reaction, Commissioner of Police, Agboola Oshodi Glover in a text message to our correspondent said the information was not true.

He said “No, That is false information. Do not believe it”.

Meanwhile, Kwara State Government has appealed to protesting students of Kwara State Polytechnic to remain calm and avoid any action capable of disrupting peace and order in the State.

In a statement issued in Ilorin on Thursday, Secretary to the State Government, Alh. Sola Isiaka Gold, described as unfortunate the reported injury of a student by men of the Nigeria Police and called on the students to maintain peace and not allow miscreants to hijack their peaceful protests.

Alhaji Gold assured the students that the state police has commenced disciplinary proceedings against the police officer at the center of the incident and will take action to forestall a re-occurrence of the sad incident.

According to Alhaji Gold, while government recognizes the students’ right to peaceful protest, the full weight of the law will be brought to bear on anyone apprehended for breaking the law under any guise. Furthermore, he urged parents not to allow their wards to be used for any acts of criminality.

Associate of our popular nollywood actress explains situation on her behalf that it wasn’t her who was really talking. On Sunday April 28th, the actress appeared on T.B Joshua's televised deliverance programme on Emmanuel TV, but contrary to earlier reports that she confessed to being a witch, her associate says she never did. She went for deliverance because she felt that an evil force was making life difficult for her. Her associate explains:

Amnesty For Boko Haram...........

The Secretary to the Bauchi state Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Joshua Ray Mains, described the Federal Government’s offer of amnesty to Boko Haram as a wrong strategy for the 2015 general election by President Jonathan, saying that the move would never achieve the ultimate goal of a peaceful resolution.

It condemned the idea of granting amnesty to a faceless group that had wantonly destroyed lives and property of Nigerians at every turn

 He said amnesty should only be granted to people with known ideology, identities and vision and not a sect whose membership and ideology remain unclear.

The CAN Secretary said, “The issue of granting amnesty to the Boko Haram group should not even arise in the first instance because up till today nobody can actually point out who members of this group are. We have a problem of identifying this group and I don’t think it is rational to give amnesty to group of people you don’t know.”

He said that amnesty should be given to a group of individual who had lost a stake, like the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, adding that they had their strong reasons for amnesty such as oil exploitation, infrastructural decay, unemployment and land degradation.

“Why should they be given amnesty? Are we congratulating them for the people they have sent to their early graves or are we encouraging them to continue with their acts so that other groups can take advantage of the amnesty and continue to disrupt the peace of the country? He asked.

Also reacting to the amnesty offer to the faceless Boko Haram group, Pastor Bitrus Bdliya of the Church of Brethren in Nigeria described the offer as an exercise in futility, as it would not make the boys to stop their bombing campaigns.

He wondered how the government should contemplate amnesty for Boko Haram whose leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, had come out publicly through the media to reject such offer.

He said, it was unfortunate that some people equated Boko Haram with the Niger Delta militias, pointing out that the two groups and their interests were not the same and should not be juxtaposed for any reason.

Bdliya pointed out that while the Niger Delta militants fought for a share of the oil being exploited in the region, Boko Haram merely wants to kill Christians and islamize the country by force.

Also speaking, the Yobe State CAN Chairman, Reverend Idi Garba, noted that the Federal Government’s attempt would amount to waste of time and resources, since the sect members had not sought repentance and forgiveness before the federal government threw the offer at them….source

THE CAUSE OF DAMINO DAMOCHE'S DEATH

  Fact emerging has it that budding hip hop artist, Olaniyan Damilola, popularly known as “Damino Damoche,” was killed due to his association with campus fraternity in his school, Lagos State University, LASU.

The attack was said to be a reprisal from a rival gang, as Damoche was alleged to be a member of a confraternity on the campus.

Damoche was shot dead Thursday afternoon by suspected campus fraternity gangs outside the school premises.

The incident took place at about 4:30 p.m. Nigerian time. Eyewitnesses said Damoche’s assailants apparently trailed him on a motorbike after he finished a class test in Banking and Finance. He was a 400 level student.

The late hip hop star was shot twice, in the head and on the left hand, with what appeared to be a high caliber weapon. He lay dead for several hours before policemen took his body away in a pick-up van.

Damoche was born in Lagos Nigeria into a family of 3 but a native of Ogun State.

He started his music trade with some guys called “Middle Guys”. When things did not go well, he went as a solo artiste and got parties rocking, picking up the microphone at a very tender age, doing music underground and as well organizing street shows.

His hit songs include “OBO TO CHE” Featuring Skaliey, And ‘Fall In The Circle’ featuring- DRAMA, & Feel Aray Featuring Stormy Zino & IQ(House Of Ginjah). May his soul rest in peace...amen.

WIZKID LEAVES EME MUSIC FOR KONVICT MUSIC(It is official)

We reported first that Wizkid has parted way with his own record label locally and signed Maleek Berry amongst others to his Starboy record label. 

Its official! As Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid leaves EME for Akon’s Konvict Music. Now we can confirm to you that Wizkid has rejoined Konvict Music. 

Wizkid was the only reason Akon had a venture business with EME and now that he is no more there, Akon has decided to pick up from where the deal with EME ended. Although the details of the contract is still unknown. Naij360 promise to find out the details of the contract. Although we know Akon’s Konvict financed the recording of Wizkid and Chris Brown, Wizkid, Young Jeezy and Game on the same track are the notable ones.

 Wizkid has also recorded track with Tinie Tempah amongst others. 

All financed by Konvict Music. We might not know the details of the contract now but we are sure Akon doesn’t mind Wizkid having his own record label which was one of the reason’s he left EME. Wizkid drops his mixtape in April and we can also confirm that his 2nd album under EME has been fully recorded and that makes him a free man. While his international album is slated for 2014.

The deal with Konvict Music was resigned with his new management Disturbing London when he was in London.
