Maiduguri: JTF Kills Two Suspects, Arrests Three...In The Early Hour Of Today

The Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation ‘RESTORE ORDER’ in Maiduguri says it has killed two men and arrested three others suspected to be responsible for three killings in the early hours of today in Jiddari –Pulo in the metropolis. One soldier was wounded.
A statement by spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Sagir Musa said the JTF cordoned off the area once it was informed of the assault, leading to an exchange of fire with the suspects. An assault rifle with ten rounds of ammunition was recovered.
“The suspects are in JTF custody and effort is on to apprehend the fleeing members of the gang,” the statement said.
